For cutting glass, quartz glass, procelaine, ceramics and similar materials in horizontal cutting process.

The vertical saw constists of a base plate with driven work piece

circular table and flanged guiding stand for the acceptance of the

saw rocker with cutting aggregate.

Working method:

The work pieces (glass tubes) will be put vertically on the circular

table and clamped with clamping jaws guided in detachable T-slots.

The cutting aggregate wil be adjusted manually to the requested

cutting lengths (heights) by means of thread spindle and two longitudinal guides.

The aligning rate will be read from a counter (100-1500 mm, +/- 0,5 mm). The adjustment will be fixed than manually by means of a fixing unit.

Afterwards the cutting aggregate will be manually and oil-damped (adjustable) swivelled into the work piece for making the first cut. The crcular table will be changed to rotation in order to cut the requested part.

Construction:

- Base plate for the acceptance of the driven circular table and flange for fixing the guiding stand of the cutting aggregate. Cooling water outlet by means of stainless steel case around the table, levelling elements for aligning the machine.

- Circular table diameter 1200 mm, speed steady adjustable (0 - 6 U/min). Drive of the table by means of adjustable electro motor and toothed belt.

- Table surface with marks in gradations of 50 mm diameter for easy pre-adjustment of the clamping chucks. Three single adjustable and exchangeable clamping jaws in 120° arrangement.

- Vertical guiding stand consisting of aluminium cast base body with two fitted linear guides and thread spindle with hand wheel for the adjustment (positioning) of the cutting aggregate. Bed guide protected against dirt and water by means of expansion bellows.

- Cutting aggregate consisting of a saw rocket, adjustable oil-damped and manually swivelling, with motor flanged directly at the thread spindle (v=constant 2800 rpm). The cutting disc protection is made with a suction nozzle for splash water.

- All corrosion endangered parts are made from stainless steel.
